Cactus Argentina S.A. Cactus Argentina S.A. was created in 1998 in Villa Mercedes, San Luis, Argentina, to provide feed lot services (cattle fattening) to meat producers and/or packing plants. Cactus is an essential link in the vertical integration process with Carnes Pampeanas for the finishing of cattle with a pre specified carcass weight as required for our premium brand "IBP". Its strategic location in Villa Mercedes, a thriving region for this type of industry, due to an abundant supply of water and scarce rainfall, a large number of corn producers -main input for cattle feed- and the availability of high quality Angus cattle. Villa Mercedes thus presents the agricultural and climatic conditions needed to optimize the well-being of animals undergoing the fattening process.
